Delete your Opsify account

J Squared Solutions LLC makes the Opsify app (web, iPhone, iPad and Android). This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

1. Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Opsify account”.
2. Send it from the email address on your account. If you sign in with a phone number, include that number and we'll text it to confirm.
3. We confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days and email or text you when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your login, name, email address and phone number.
• Your profile, notification settings, to-dos and dashboard settings.
• Your access to your business's Opsify account.

What your business keeps

Jobs, customers, estimates, invoices, photos and notes belong to the business you work for, not to you personally, so deleting your account doesn't delete them. Notes you wrote and hours you logged keep your name so the business's records stay accurate. Other records you created stay without a link to you.

If you own the business's account

• Others still use the account: make one of them the owner first, so your team doesn't lose access. Email us if you need help with that.
• You're the only user: deleting your account also closes the business's account. Billing stops right away and access ends. The business's data, including its customers, jobs and invoices, is deleted 30 days later. Email us before then if you want a copy.

What we keep after deletion

We keep only what we need to meet legal obligations, such as billing and tax records held by our payment processor. See our Privacy Policy for details.
