John grew up in Maryland and has worked in and around the marine service industry since he was fourteen. Before Opsify, he spent four years inside a local service business watching estimates, work orders, and invoices get lost between phone calls, legal pads, and late nights. He builds Opsify for the owners doing that same second shift today.
Jesse Washburn
Co-founder & CTO
Jesse is a Maryland native and the engineer behind the platform. He leads product and technology at Opsify, turning the mess of a real service day into software that stays out of the way. If something in Opsify feels effortless, Jesse is the reason.
Why we do this
Small service businesses are the backbone of towns like ours. When a business sheds its administrative burden, it takes on more work, hires more people, and the whole community feels it. Our mission is to give every growing service business the operational backbone of a much bigger company, at a price that never punishes them for growing.
And none of this is about replacing people. The office manager keeps the job and loses the drudgery. The customer still hears a familiar voice. Software should carry the paperwork so the humans can carry the relationship.
